Thief Steals FBI Agent's Vehicle, Assault Rifle and Bulletproof Vest from Outside Queens Home

Bad news.

None

An eagle-eyed thief stole an FBI agent's car from outside his Queens home last night, taking his M-4 assault rifle and bullet proof vest in the process. According to an FBI spokeswoman, the agent had the vehicle parked close to his Ozone Park home; the weapon and vest were in its trunk. The NYPD says the car has not been located yet.

Last summer, the very same agent opened on fire on two men who tried to break into his Lexus. One of them was struck in the back, but only suffered non-life threatening injuries. Although it's unclear if the agent followed agency guidelines on the use of deadly force to protect your Lexus, the Queens District Attorney elected not to press charges.

He'd better hope that vehicle, weapon and vest all turn up soon.
