We already told you about Kings County Bar's plan to host its first annual Smallest Penis Contest on July 20, but there's a method behind this madness. As it turns out, it's not so much about humiliation as it is a celebration of pride with a little a sense of humor. Gothamist spoke to manager Aimee Arciuolo, who revealed that the idea was inspired by a memorable experience.

"The discussion came about after I had an exceptionally fun and amazing romp with a man who was less than endowed—it was actually shockingly tiny, like the size of an acorn," she explained. She soon learned that her friends had similar experiences, and agreed that men who aren't well-endowed should be praised.

The contest will feature rounds for swimwear and evening wear, and a question and answer segment. Aricuolo says that her heterosexual male friends don't support the contest, and that some even seem offended. They probably aren't the target audience for the event. As for her female friends, well they're delighted.
