Arrested Development's marketing team is just as brilliant as the show's creators. Just as the trailer for the show's new season hit the Internet, a real-life Bluth's Original Frozen Banana Stand opened in New York City. Known for stashing large quantities of cash on the show, the real stand is situated on 6th Avenue, right across the street from Radio City Music Hall.
As part of the marketing push, authentic bananas are being distributed. Because people love potassium as much as they love Arrested Development, lines are ridiculous. The stand will reportedly be open until 6 p.m., so grab a banana to hold you over until the show returns on Netflix come May 26.
