It's a rare and difficult feat to be able to keep something like a marriage secret in this day and age, so we really have to give 23-year-old Suburgatory and Evil Dead star Jane Levy some cred. According to the New York Daily News, the actress was quietly married to little-known Portuguese actor Jaime Freitas for a total of seven months between March 2011 and October 2011 - and she managed to keep it a secret the entire time.
The only reason that this is in the news now is because the divorce was just officially finalized. Apparently, Levy waited nearly two years to file the papers, meaning she and Freitas have been separated, but legally married, all this time.
Really, how does that happen? Sure, Levy is still fairly new in the entertainment biz - her first role was as Mandy Milkovich 1.0 on Shameless in 2011 - but no one figured out that the girl was married for the better part of a year? That's actually insanely impressive. Kudos, Jane Levy, you've outsmarted us all.
