Rockstar's Classic Brawler "The Warriors" Hitting PSN Soon

Hot on the heels of Manhunt, Rockstar Games' 2003 flawed-if-disturbing interactive snuff film released this week on PSN, the Grand Theft Automakers have also announced the PS2 brawler The Warriors will hit Playstation Network soon.

Arguably one of the only decent movie-related game properties released to date—Rockstar's pop-cultural sensibilities and penchant for violence are a perfect fit for the film's dystopian '70s New York grit—The Warriors is definitely a great choice for a re-release. And while we'd prefer a full-on HD redux, if you missed this one the first time around, the expanded world of this gang-driven cult classic is one you'll want to play.
