All apologies if you cringe while reading this, but police have busted a prostitution ring that was being run out of senior citizens complex in Englewood, NJ. NBC New York says that 75-year-old James Parham was the brains behind the operation, "hiring" a mixture of young women and older residents to do the unspeakable.
Police also arrested 66-year-old Cheryl Chaney; both she and Parham with allowing people to use crack in their apartments. The pair were also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of crack cocaine and maintaining a nuisance. That nuisance refers to prostitution in regards to Parham and rampant crack smoking for Chaney.
Authorities first learned of the business in March when residents complained at a seminar for senior safety. Expect Parham and Chaney to be evicted soon.
