Aside from the holiday, this weekend will be awesome in New York City because Luke's Lobster and No.7 Sub will both open in Brooklyn Bridge Park. Tomorrow, their combination concession stand will open inside of the Smokestack Building beneath Brooklyn Bridge, and both will be open 7 days a week all year. The stand will start out with 10 to 20 tables, but more are promised. Also, Luke's will operate from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., staying open two hours later than No. 7.
As usual, No. 7 will serve subs, breakfast sandwiches and pressed juiced. Luke's will of course serve lobster rolls, gluten-free soups and grilled cheese sandwiches. This will be great during the summer, but it's super clutch that they'll both be open year round.
