YouTube has just released Trends Maps, a map of the United States that shows you what videos are getting more plays in the different areas of the country. It's simple to use: all you have to do is point your cursor to different spots on the map and a thumbnail will show you the most popular video in that region. You can even break down what videos are popular by shares or views, or break down viewership by gender and age.
It's a really interesting look at the different, real-time, tastes of America.
