While the first trailer for White House Down painted the movie as a fairly dark, suspense-filled thriller with promise of seeing a ton of Channing Tatum's rippling muscles, the new promo for the Roland Emmerich-directed film presents it with a much different tone: The muscles are still promised, but it's presented as a much lighter film, with an almost buddy cop kind of feel between Tatum's character and President Jamie Foxx. Like, Independence Day redux, minus the aliens, but the White House still blows up - basically, way more what we're used to seeing from Emmerich.
Also, Jamie Foxxreally doesn't like people touching his Jordans. Can we blame him, though?
