We're certainly not trying to provide criminals with advice, but turning your phone off prior to committing a crime is probably a good idea. It's the smart thing to do. The Broward County Sheriff's Office got the details of a murder plot, all because the suspect accidentally butt-dialed 911

Scott Simon, 24, has been charged in the murder of 33-year-old Nicholas Walker, whose body was found inside of a crashed vehicle on I-95 back on May 5. Police say Simon can be heard explaining his intentions to follow his victim home and then shoot him. While authorities say that Simon orchestrated the murder, they don't believe he was the triggerman.

Walker was reportedly murdered following a dispute at a Waffle House; police are still on the hunt for two other suspects.
