The 50 Most Hard-To-Watch Scenes in Movie History

41. Chopping Bodies

Movie: Donnie Brasco (1997)
Director: Mike Newell
Stars: Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Michael Madsen

The line between simply being an undercover detective infiltrating a crime family, and actually being a part of said crime family is at its blurriest when FBI agent Joseph Pistone (Johnny Depp), aka Donnie Brasco to his mob associates, finds himself helping his fellow mobsters get rid of the bodies of three gunned down gangsters. The method? Butchering them into little pieces.

The audience is forced to watch as the camera pans in on the saw penetrating the dead man's bones as blood splatters onto the detective's face. —TA
