David Beckmann is one of the many disturbed people who walk the Earth. Police arrived at the 64-year-old Roselle, IL resident's home to investigate the reported indecent solicitation of a child, and instead found Beckmann's pet peacock, Phyl, dead in the garage. Police say Beckmann sexually abused the bird, but wouldn't reveal how that was related to the case with the child. Honestly, we don't even want to know the connection.
Beckmann was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana possession, harassment by telephone, battery, attempted indecent solicitation of a child and animal cruelty.
