According to screenshots taken by Droid Life just this morning, it looks like we are going to see a revamped Google Maps, complete with a shiny-new user interface and integration with other Google services. The sign up page for the service went live for a brief period of time last night, possibly in preparation for its announcement during Google I/O later today. The new Google Maps will feature a "smarter" search box, which gives out ratings, reviews and indoor maps; something they call a "tailored map for every search." Maps will also now feature imagery from Google Earth and incorporate the company's flight search.
Google's mission for web supremacy continues. Will you be signing up for the new service?
