Ideas City is a biennial festival that uses conferences, workshops and street activities to explore the possibilities of the future of cities. This year's theme is Untapped Capital, which encourages participants to take an in-depth look at underutilized resources in our cities. On May 3, visitors can attend free workshops like Wise Words, which gives the perspective of the city from immigrant women. Most workshops are free and simply require an RSVP. On May 4, visitors can attend StreetFest, an event that gathers historians, architects, and community activists to share their ideas of what Untapped Capital means to them.
