True Blood season 6 is almost upon us, and as usual, the residents of Bon Temps are in danger. Bill (Stephen Moyer) looks like he's unfortunately really sticking to this whole "I'm God" thing. They've got this vampire Warlowe who (maybe) killed Jason (Ryan Kwanten) and Sookie's (Anna Paquin) parents, so maybe Bill isn't going to be the season's villain.

There's also lots of Eric (Alexander Skarsgaard)—and another Eric and Sookie hookup, yay—but the U.S. government is not happy with this latest iteration of the vampire race. Humans are finally fighting back, which puts Jason and Sookie in an, um, awkward position.

Crazy preacher's wife Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is returning this season, but unfortunately we only get her in voice-over in the trailer. Alcide (Joe Manganiello) spends the trailer mostly shirtless, and the werewolves are afraid humans will start hunting them, too. True Blood just keeps getting crazier and crazier, but that's why we love it.

Season 6 premieres June 16 on HBO.
