Apple's App Store is offering cash rewards to whoever downloads its 50 billionth app. That person will receive a whopping $10,000 Apple Store Gift Card, while whoever downloads one of the first 50 apps afterward can win $500.
To celebrate the forthcoming milestone, Apple has launched a page with an app download counter. As of press time, it stands around 49,252,890,000.
To enter the contest, no purchase is necessary. Just fill out the form on its site.
According to Mashable, the App Store hit the 25 billion mark in March 2012, and passed 40 billion downloads this year.
