No, Alicia Vikander is not Scientology's newest recruit to take Katie Holmes' place. This is strictly business. The 24-year-old Swedish breakout actress has been cast as the female lead in director Guy Ritchie's upcoming spy flick, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., opposite Tom Cruise.

In screenwriter Scott Z. Burns' big screen adaptation of the '60s TV show, which will follow Cruise and Armie Hammer as secret agents Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin, respectively, Vikander is slated to take on a new role as a British agent who's a bit of gearhead.

If you've had your ear on the Hollywood pulse, then her casting should come as no surprise. Once up for the titular role in the upcoming live-action version of Cinderella—the role went to Downton Abbey's Lily James—Vikander became the "one to watch" after her impressive performances in 2012's Anna Karenina and A Royal Affair.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E., which is being developed by Warner Bros., hasn't begun filming, but it's expected to drop in 2014.
