If there's one word you should never say while inside of an airport, it's "bomb." Still, this is pretty ridiculous. Last week, a man was detained at JFK International Airport after a TSA agent overheard him utter the word "bomb" to a friend. It turns out he was just talking about a sandwich, known as The Bomb.
Both men were detained and released after the situation was cleared up, and 29-year-old Jason Michael Cruz ended up missing his flight to Los Angeles. According to Gothamist, The Bomb is a 12-inch sandwich found at Astoria's Sal, Kris and Charlie's Deli.
So yeah, if this story and Meet the Parents have taught us nothing else, it's that you don't say "bomb" in an airport or on a plane. Things will not go well for you.
