Good news for anyone who's ever found themselves watching Rocky and thinking, "boy, this would make a great musical" - AKA, all two of you that there are out there. According to Vulture, it's happening on Broadway next February! If you recall, German-language version of the movie-musical produced by Rocky's screenwriter and star Sylvester Stallone already premiered in Hamburg, Germany last fall, where it was actually a hit - you can check out the trailer for that here.
No casting has been determined for the project, but Stallone will also be producing the show for Broadway. Here's hoping that some Stallone-lookalike belts out "Eye of the Tiger" at some point in the play.
