Taco Bell Has a New Goal: Healthier Food

Takeover, the break's over.

None

After endearing itself to potheads everywhere, Taco Bell will try to offer more healthy options. Yesterday, the chain announced plans to have 20 percent of its combo meals contain about a third of the government's dietary guidelines by 2020. That means 700 calories and 500 mg of sodium.

This is because Taco Bell wants its product to be one of the three standard daily meals. "Our customer tastes and needs are evolving," CEO Greg Creed explained. "They want more balanced options." Taco Bell's journey to appeal to everyone rages on. Who can stop them?
