Bigfoot generally isn't seen as the most adorable little creature, but give him a chance - he's just a misunderstood dude who wants to be loved like everyone else. Pineapple Express duo Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg get it - which is why they're developing a new animated comedy for FX based on the faux-autobiographical, adorable books from Graham RoumieuIn Me Own Words: The Autobiography of Bigfoot, Me Write Book: It Bigfoot Memoir, and Bigfoot: I Not Dead. In the books, Bigfoot is depicted as a bipolar, hopeless romantic who struggles to fit in with society while lacking the ability to properly express himself. The poor guy really needs a hug.

American Dad writer Matt McKenna will pen the script, and executive produce alongside Rogen, Goldberg, and Roumieu.
