Would you rather be broke or go to jail?

Faced with this dilemma, Katrina Tisdale opted for the latter, calling 911 to explain that she made an impulse buy from her drug dealer, spending her last $50 on marijuana and cocaine. Tisdale hoped the emergency system would be understanding and help her to get money back, otherwise she'd be broke until her next disability check arrived.

They were not.

The 47-year-old was arrested by police in St. Petersburg, FL, charged with misuse of a police emergency system and held on $100 bond, plunging her deeper into debt. Tisdale, who's had several run-ins with the law in the past, and was busted in 2011 for calling 911 with false claims of being robbed by her drug dealer.

By this point, she should know that all drug sales and arrests are final.
