Racism being used as a defense? That's a new one.
Texas teacher Esther Irene Stokes has been accused of touching the vaginal area of a student at Northwest Preparatory Academy Charter School, but Stokes insists she's innocent for one simple reason: She's racist; she doesn't like touching black children. Stokes also told authorities (quite bluntly) that she doesn't like her accuser. That's not aiding her case.
The school released an initial statement saying that Stokes had been placed on administrative leave, but was fired after an internal investigation was completed. She was charged with felony indecency with a child and is free after posting $10,000 bond.
Stokes was going to be fired regardless, but she wants everyone to know she doesn't molest children, she's just a racist. Nothing more.
