If you've listened to enough rap music, you've heard rappers reference guns stashed under seats many times over. This, however, is probably not what they meant. Over the weekend, the NYPD says a loaded gun was found inside of a chair cushion at a Manhattan hotel.
According to police, a man strolled into the Club Quarters Hotel on Sunday afternoon, placed the loaded weapon into the chair cushion and walked out. The NYPD is asking anyone with more information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM.
