A heated family argument got way past words in Brooklyn over the weekend, resulting in a man stabbing his brother and sister. Arturo Diaz got into a drunken fight with his brother inside of the family's apartment around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday. Their sister tried to dissolve the situation, but Diaz picked up a 12-inch knife and stabbed both his brother and sister with it.

Following the incident, Diaz's family members say he ran into his room and refused to leave. He would eventually surrender to NYPD officers and is expected to be formally charged soon. Neither one of his siblings sustained serious injuries as a result of the attack, but you'd better believe that family gatherings will be awkward moving forward.

Family forgives, though. Right?
