A New York City strip club has won the right to subpoena the NYPD after claims were made that dancers were being extra friendly with patrons. Manhattan's FlashDancers was the subject of a 2011 raid where six dancers were allegedly caught making deals for sex in the club's "blue room," which must be its answer to the "Champagne Room."
However, the club's attorney, Ed Rudofsky, says that nothing went down (no pun intended). He told the New York Post that, although undercover officers claim to have negotiated with dancers, no money was exchanged and no sex took place.
The club still isn't in the clear, as it will face a the State Liquor Authority today, which could result in the loss of its liquor license.
