CBS has finally released the trailer for their TV adaptation of Stephen King's Under the Dome, and, according to cast members, it won't disappoint any avid fans of King's novel.

The trailer, clocking in at just over a minute, includes both footage from the series, and behind-the-scenes interviews with cast and crew. Even King himself, who's serving as an executive producer for the project, commented that the show is going to make people's eyes "bug out of their head when they see it...it's going to be riveting TV."

The project is hailing from Steven Spielberg's production company, DreamWorks Television. Starring Mike Vogel, Rachelle Lefevre, Britt Robinson, and Breaking Bad's Dean Norris, the show follows the story of residents living in a small Maine town that is suddenly and inexplicably cut off from the outside world by an impenetrable barrier - a dome, if you will. People start freaking out, naturally, and a group of people band together to try and maintain some semblence of peace while they figure out what's behind the mysterious barrier. Creepy

You can check out the trailer above. Who else can't help but think "Jesus Christ Marie! They're minerals!" every time they see Dean Norris?
