Get Ready For "Dodgeball 2"

Because why not?

None

Breaking news: Hollywood, the land of remakes and sequels, is making another sequel. Its latest candidate/victim, according to The Hollywood Reporter, is 2004's Vince Vaughn-starring flick Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story, because we all know how much that storyline needed tying up.

To be fair, a sequel has been discussed for ages, but no moves were actually made to produce it until recently. Apparently, though, it's really happening now: Red Hour - star Ben Stiller's production company with Stuart Cornfeld - and Fox have tapped Joy Ride writer Clay Tarver to pen a sequel to the comedy.

The new film will reportedly see the return of Vaughn and Stiller's characters, and will have them "forced to team up to fight an even bigger threat." Whatever that means. Sounds kinda dramatic, but, on the other hand, it's still a movie called Dodgeball 2.
