Shocking news about Game of Thrones actress Lena Headey, who portrays the cold Queen Cersei Lannister - according to court documents acquired by TMZ, the actress is claiming that she is broke with "less than $5 in her bank account," and desperately needs a tax refund to cover her and her 2-year-old son's expenses.

Headey filed the documents in L.A. County Superior Court as part of proceedings for her divorce from estranged husband Peter Loughran. He's reportedly demanding half of their $46,000 tax refund from 2011, but, as it could technically be considered community property from their marriage, Headey made a plea for $6,000 of it immediately so she can cover her and their 2-year-old son's living expenses - something she's been doing so far by living on credit cards.

Headey did say that she expects to earn more income from acting jobs soon - in addition to Game of Thrones, the actress is set to appear in both The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones and 300: Rise of an Empire - but until then, she needed the tax refund. She also offered to allow Loughran to take $6,000 from the total refund to pay for his own living expenses, but she wanted the remaining $34,000 placed in an account that is only allowed to be withdrawn from if both of them give their consent.

According to TMZ, both Loughran's request for half of the money and Headey's proposal for the advance were thrown out by the judge, so the tax refund is still very much in the air.
