Customers at a Home Depot in West Covina, CA were horrified when a man walked into the store, picked up a saw and inexplicably began cutting his arms off. He reportedly got all the way down to the bone before authorities found him passed out in a pool of his own blood. Luckily, Pasadena Fire Captain Art Hurtado happened to be present and noticed that the man still exhibited signs of life.
Hurtado and police officers used towels and nylon rope to stop the bleeding, and the man was rushed to the hospital for surgery. He had no identification on him, but is believed to be in his 40s. There's been no word on his condition or what prompted his actions.
That's what's truly frightening.
