Not to be confused with Zynga San Francisco is Zynga New York, which after a few awkward moments last year, including a round of office closures, seems to have finally bounced back.

The company's "What's The Phrase" game hit No. 1 in the Apple store, just weeks after debuting February 28.

According to BetaBeat, who broke the story, the game puts a social twist on Wheel of Fortune and "old-school American pastimes like Scrabble and Pictionary." And much like Pat Sajak's bread and butter, "players take turns guessing vowels and consonants that form a hidden phrase." Could a board game spinoff be on the way next?
