If you're hoping to get discovered as a model, you should put yourself where people will see you. Geena Davis took this pretty literally: Before she was signed to a modelling agency in 1979, Davis worked as a window mannequin at Anne Taylor. Once she was signed as a model, the doors were open for her to prove that her drama degree from Boston University had prepared her for more than window posing. She landed her breakout role in Tootsie a couple years later in 1982.
