According to authorities, most of Hoboken, NJ is without water thanks to two water main breaks that occurred today. A 12-inch water main was the first to break, buckling streets, flooding basements and even swallowing a small vehicle. Just hours later, the second break happened after a contractor struck a 30-inch main.

According to NBC New York, United Water is working diligently to isolate the break and resolve the problem.
