Tina Fey Could Write a Song About Taylor Swift's Comments

Now that we'd like to hear.

None

In case you haven't heard, Taylor Swift has had a bit of a beef with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler since they made a good-natured joke about her during the Golden Globes ceremony they hosted earlier this year. It really wasn't an offensive joke - Fey and Poehler just said she should say away from Michael J. Fox's son, then suggested that "[she could use] some 'me time' to learn about herself," - but Swift still took to Vanity Fair to comment on how their jokes made her feel. Specifically, she said:

None

Yikes. Harsh. While Poehler responded to Swift's comments in a decidedly awesome way - "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset. I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl. That being said, I do agree I am going to hell. But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff," - Fey's response was less humorous and more, Wow, really?

"It was just a joke, and I think it was actually a very benign joke," she told reporters who asked for her response at the premiere of her new film Admission. Then, when Vulture pointed out that Swift could very possibly be writing a song about all of this right now: "Me, too, though! Me, too. I could do a song. I could do a whole song about it."

Now there's a song we'd listen to. And we all know Fey can rap, because she did on Childish Gambino's most recent mixtape Royalty, so she could totally do that in the song too. Try and say this wouldn't be awesome.
