The Helmet of Justice created by Austin-based designer, John Poindexter, will start taking 360-degree camera shots if its wearer is hit by a car.

The designer was inspired by his own accident, when he was hit by a vehicle and the perpetrator drove away. Shortly after the accident, he was too out of it to remember any details about the car or the driver that hit him.

The cap looks like a normal head protector, but packs seven cameras and a detachable USB drive that stores all recorded data. Currently, Poindexter's company Chaotic Moon is shopping around for a manufacturer for the defender helmet.
