Originally designed as a way to make games more interactive, Sifteo Cubes have expanded to music, and boy, do they look fun to play with.
Each of the six or so cubes can be used to represent a different genre of music, or combined to discover new sounds. You can also shake each cube to start a song, or leave a cube in select rooms to set the mood.
We especially like the sharing option, which lets you build an equation out of three or more cubes: e.g., one music cube plus one sharing cube equals you sharing a song with a friend. You can also line up several cubes to build a customized playlist.
