As of Wednesday, Rovio's original Angry Birds game is now free on iOS, or iPhone and iPad. It's also been updated with 15 new Bad Piggies levels, making it that much more addictive.
When it was first released on the iPhone in December 2009, Angry Birds cost $.99. No one knows why it was reduced this week, and Rovio never made an official announcement online or elsewhere. But considering the millions of times it's been downloaded, it's probably worth checking out.
