Yesterday, R. Kelly's mansion in suburban Chicago was placed on the auction block. Kelly had the Olympia Fields home built in 1997, and scored a $3.5 million mortgage on it in 1999. In 2011, a mortgage foreclosure lawsuit was filed against the singer, claiming that he owed nearly $3 million on the home and had stopped making payments to have the loan modified. He also owes the IRS about $6 million in back taxes.

The 11,140-square-foot home comes with eight full baths, six half baths, four fireplaces, a theater, indoor pool, six acres of private land and a man-made lake. A real estate agent tried to sell the place for $1.595 million in 2011, but couldn't find a buyer. Last year, the Cook County Assessor’s office valued the property at $3.8 million, and bidding on the home began at $950,000.

No word on how many skeletons are trapped in the home's many closets.
