When your phone is dying and you're in a bind, a couple more minutes of battery life could make all the difference -- you can make last phone call, send a message or use your phone's GPS to look up directions.

The Devotec Fuel Micro Charger is tiny cell phone charger made for emergencies. The quarter-sized device holds a 220 milliAmp hour battery, designed to give you about 20 to 30 more minutes of talk time, according to the project's Kickstarter campaign. Use a standard micro-USB that connects to the port on the bottom of the device to charge.

For the scheduled October 2013 delivery, the Devotec Fuel Micro Charger is only compatible with phones with micro-USB chargers. The Fuel team is currently working on an iPhone-compatible device.
