The NYPD is on the hunt for a woman suspected of swiping wallets and then draining the bank accounts of her victims. On the evening of Jan. 31, the woman was caught on surveillance camera withdrawing money from an ATM, bleeding the funds of a woman who had just noticed that her wallet had been stolen while shopping at the Key Food in the East Village.
The bespectacled suspect was previously seen in November making a $2,000 withdrawal at a Manhattan Chase Bank from the account of a woman who had her wallet stolen at the Borough Hall subway station in Brooklyn. Despite the woman's non-threatening appearance, she's obviously a highly-skilled thief with the perfect look. Who's going to be suspicious of someone who reminds them of Lisa Loeb?
