On Friday, an off-duty NYPD officer was caught peeping at his 21-year-old neighbor in their Bronx apartment. 41-year-old Miguel Gomez has been accused of strategically placing a surveillance camera in the building to spy on the young woman.
An eight year veteran of the police force, Gomez was arrested Friday morning and charged with unlawful surveillance. Authorities have set to reveal the camera's specific location, whether he was recording the woman and what their interactions were like.
At least he was apparently smart enough to avoid using police equipment.
