The phone lock feature is valuable, so please treasure it. Otherwise, you might wind up getting arrested for pocket-dialing 911 during a drug deal. According to police in Molalla, OR, a dispatcher got a random call and ended up overhearing a drug deal. Don't you just hate it when that happens?
Apparently, a 25-year-old woman accidentally called 911 Tuesday morning, allowing dispatchers to hear the entire conversation between her and her dealer. Police were able to track the GPS signal to an alley about a block away (way to make it easy for them). Dispatchers even heard the cop arrive and interrupt the transaction.
A 25-year-old man was arrested for possession for several drug charges including possession of methamphetamine. Before eventually hanging up, the woman received a citation for possession of marijuana.
