On Thursday night, the LAPD made a huge drug bust, discovering roughly 100 kilos of cocaine worth some $2.5 million. After arresting two men in Sylmar, the officers were directed to the drugs, which were stashed inside of a secret compartment in a big rig near Lake View Terrace.
Drug sniffing dogs were used to pinpoint the exact location of the drugs, and L.A. County firefighters had to cut through the metal floor of the trailer to get to the coke. CBS2 speculates that the police may have been tipped off about the location of the cocaine:
None
So far, the LAPD hasn't released any information about the two men they arrested, or their relationship to the large quantity of blow.
