Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell Are Making Another Movie Together

This is good.

Former Saturday Night Live co-stars, future Anchorman 2 co-stars, and best Golden Globes presenter duo ever, Kristen Wiig and Will Ferrell, are in talks to join another project together. This time, an indie film! Film junkies all over the world, today is your day.

Some details: The film is called Welcome to Me, and is being produced by Ferrell and Anchorman 2 helmer Adam McKay. It will be directed by McKay's wife and Jeremy Piven's older sister, Fully Loaded director Shira Piven. Wiig is in talks for the lead role, a woman with dissociative personality disorder - that is, multiple personalities - who wins the lottery, and decides to spend her cash on a cable access talk show about her life.

It's not totally clear if Ferrell will have an actual role in the film or if he's just producing, but still - collaborations between Ferrell and McKay are tried and true (i.e., Step Brothers, Anchorman), and having Wiig star can only mean awesome things.
