It looks like accessories manufacturer Hyperkin will be releasing the video game equivalent to Frankentsein later this year.

The Retron 5 is an HDMI compatible console that will be able to play all of your classic cartridge titles. The 5 in the title refers to all of the slots available on the deck. Dirty. That's right NES, SNES, Genesis, Famicom, and Game Boy Advance cartridges will all be supported by the Retron 5. As a bonus the systems will also support Mega Drive, Super Famicom, Game Boy Color, and original Game Boy titles to boot.

The fact that this little beast will be HDMI compatible means that all of these games will be fully realized on most HD TVs in 720p. The console is expected to be ready to move sometime this summer and be priced at less than a hundred bucks. Dust off your old copy of Blades of Steel from the attic cause this shit is going to be tight. Watch the video and let us know what you think.
