D.C.'s new restaurant and lounge Look (1909 K St. NW) had it's soft opening this week, allowing folks to get a look at the layor, the decor and all of the lights. Look will take over the space previously occupied by Teatro Goldoni, and owner Michael Kosmides recently shot down rumors that the restaurant would be the District's first Icelandic place of dining.

There's a small plates menu featuring dishes from around the globe such as Malbec-braised short ribs, scallops on the half shell and lobster risotto. The 165-seat location will celebrate its opening with huge party on Mar. 23, so you can stare at the neon lights for as long as you like.
