U.S. Customs and Border Protection found half a ton of weed in a tractor trailer under a bunch of frozen fish being transported from Mexico into the U.S. Authorities at the Otay Mesa cargo port sent the vehicle to be inspected, where a detector dog found 232 packages of weed weighing a massive 1,058 pounds. The drugs are reportedly worth $476,000 on the street.
The truck was driven by a 29-year-old man who was arrested and charged with smuggling.
