If you're a real '90s kid, you grew up watching Cory Matthews (played by actor Ben Savage) and his best friend Shawn Hunter (Rider Strong) grow up in the suburbs of Philadelphia on "Boy Meets World." The ABC show aired for seven seasons, from 1993 to 2000, as a part of the network's TGIF lineup.
The two friends went to school, had girl troubles, fought with school bullies and learned a ton of life lessons along the way to becoming adults—often with the help of longtime teacher/principal/old wise one Mr. Feeny.
Like us, you were probably elated to find out most of the original cast are returning for the Disney Channel update "Girl Meets World"—including Mr. Feeny (!!!). The new show, centering around the grown-up lives of now married couple Cory and Topanga, who now have a daughter named Riley, started filming recently. Here are some sweet behind-the-scenes pictures from the set of the pilot episode that's filming now.
