Shooting began on the pilot for Beverly Hills cop this week, and showrunner Shawn Ryan has been tweeting pictures from the set.
Eddie Murphy will return as Axel Foley—at least for the first episode if it's picked up—and Brandon T. Jackson plays his cop son, Aaron. David Denman, aka Roy from The Office also stars as a fellow police officer. Judge Reinhold is reportedly making an appearance as well.
Ryan was creator of The Shield, so he knows a think or two about cop shows. He wrote the pilot, which will be directed by Men In Black's Barry Sonnenfeld. It's one of the most highly anticipated pilots of the season and is expected to be picked up by CBS.
