That pretty racy Maxim spread featuring Boy Meets World and soon-to-be Girl Meets World star Danielle Fishel seemed to be pretty well-received by most, but apparently the execs over at Disney weren't drooling over their keyboards like everyone else. According to Deadline, the family-friendly network and Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs were 'shocked' by the photos, as well as the fact that the interview included an anecdote involving Bob Saget joking about cocaine.

Ridiculous as it is, the unhappiness apparently triggered rumors that the series would be pulled from the upcoming Disney Channel upfront presentation, which is when new shows are introduced to advertisers. Luckily though, this doesn't seem to be the case - as a network spokesperson commented, "While the project is a pilot, and hasn’t yet filmed, it will then be put through focus group testing so we won’t know if it will be a series for months to come - however, because we are excited about it, we are taking the unusual step of including it during Disney Media’s presentation to advertisers."

Disney Channel president Gary Marsh will make the presentation, which takes place tomorrow. And really, considering the ample attention the series has already received, it should have no problem getting a pick-up or advertisers for the 2013-14 season. Unnecessary crisis averted.
